THE BRIDGE ENDOWMENT FUND

The Bridge Endowment Fund was established in 1999 to provide an outreach that is beyond what is provided for in our regular church budget. You might consider this as a way to invest in mission and outreach at The Bridge. An endowment fund is simply an account from which only the earnings are used. All contributions to the endowment fund are invested and remain untouched. Only a portion of the interest is used each year for mission projects and other outreach, thereby allowing the fund to grow and continue to reach out in Jesus' name long beyond our own earthly lives.

GLOBAL MISSION FUND

The Bridge members and their immediate families may also apply to the Global Mission Team for up to 25% of the trip cost for a Bridge-sponsored global mission trip. This is money set aside in our budget each to assist those who would like to participate in mission, but whose personal finances may not accommodate the cost. submitting the Global Bridge Serving Trip Application and Summary form (below) at least 60 days prior to the trip. Print off and complete the application form below, and mail or deliver it to the church office, 10025 NW 62nd Ave., Johnston, Iowa 50131.

Applying for Assistance

• The Bridge Endowment Fund  Financial support for a Bridge sponsored mission trip may be requested though The Bridge Endowment Fund. Complete the The Bridge Endowment Fund Mission Trip Application and the The Endowment Fund Committee will review your application. The committee may approve up to 50% of the reasonable cost or expense of the mission trip,
• The Bridge Global Mission Trip Application  Complete the Global Mission Trip Application. It is your registration for the trip as well as an application for assistance through the Global Mission Fund.
