I started attending The Bridge in 2023 after some significant life change. I was immediately embraced by the people here, and have grown to love the diversity of the church. We are a group with diverse views, theologies, ages, cultural backgrounds and more – but we keep Jesus front and center! I joined the staff in March 2025 as the Business Manager, overseeing finance, building & grounds, and other operational areas.
Somehow I’ve made a career out of church business administration and leadership, serving in several different churches in that type of role for the past 25+ years! My undergraduate degree in accounting, along with some IT and real estate experience over the years, provided a solid foundation for these roles. During the time my late husband and I were helping launch ReNew Community Church in Ames, I felt God’s call to attend seminary. So I attended Western Theological Seminary’s (Holland, MI) distance program, graduating in 2019 with my Master of Divinity degree, and was ordained into the RCA shortly after.
I have one son who lives with his wife and daughter in the St. Louis suburbs – yes, I am a grammie! In my free time I enjoy reading, crossword puzzles and watching college football and basketball.
