Sermon Recap

• Pastor Suzanne reminded us that the gospel really is “Good News,” but it’s not easy. 
• She talked the 72 disciples being sent out by Jesus as “lambs among wolves.” They were to go with vulnerability. 
• She reminded us that they were told not to protect themselves or take a lot with them, but instead they were to:
  • Eat what was put in front of them and
  • Not move from house to house
• She reminded us that as we go to live out and speak of the good news, that we go, not at soldiers, but as sacrificial, vulnerable witnesses.

• What emotions stir in you when you think about going into the world as “lambs among wolves”?
• What do you need from God to be able to stay humble and vulnerable in places that do not feel safe?
• Where in your life now are you being invited to “eat what is put before you” in the community you’re in?
• Where are you being called to stay instead of moving from house to house?
